Brian Rohr (Wells Fargo Advisors) takes the first "B" win of the Cobblestone Criterium Twilight Series, followed by Jason Skalski (Handlebars) lapping the entire field to easily win the "A" race.
Brian broke away early with Lance Johnson (Tom's Pro Bike/Plan2Peak, but now Wells Fargo Advisors) and Bob Patterson (Managed Care Network). Bob dropped off and rode in no-man's land by himself the remainder of the race to eventually finish 3rd, while Brian and Lance lapped rider after rider. Brian then took the sprint over Lance to win the first B race of the series. Ben Barnhardt (BBC) and Janel Bedard (MVP) took 4th and 5th.
In the A race, Jason also went early and numerous attempts were made to bridge up, but they all failed. Jason eventually caught the pack and drove the peloton to catch the last of the riders still on the same lap as himself, and then sat in to coast to victory. Rounding out the top 5 in the A's: 2nd-Ryan Nye (MVP), 3rd-Mike Bridges (Shickluna), 4th-Todd Scheske (MVP), 5th-Ken Thomas (Wells Fargo Advisors)
