The 2010 Club Race Schedule has been posted. It includes both individual races and team series races. As a reminder, individuals not on teams will still earn points for individual standing. Team points are for registered teams and are scored separately. You will see a couple of new races, as well as couple of old courses being revisited. Stay tuned for all the details. The Board of Directors are pleased to announce that Duane Wisniewski has accepted the nomination made by Board member Peter Cummings, and was voted in by the board members this past month. As a long time officer of the club, Duane is highly qualified to help direct the club into the next decade. Duane is replacing Dave Bogdan who announced his stepping down in September. The Club would like to thank Dave for his years of service to the club....

A general club meeting was held Monday night at Tony Romes. 20 members were in attendance with new President Adam Trost presiding. Some serious discussion took place regarding issue such as the change of current BBC Race Categories, Track for 2010, Crit Series 2010 and more. Please see minutes (in Club Docs & Downloads). Club members gathered for the final time for 2009 last Saturday (Nov. 14) at the club's 38th annual awards banquet. Guests enjoyed great food and drink, acknowledged all the award winners, and had a chance to win some great cycling door prizes. We are sad to report that yesterday Glenn Hansen (TPB/P2P) passed away. Glenn missed all of the 2009 season after being diagnosed with Colon Cancer. Glenn is a previous winner of the Stan Forrestal Memorial Time Trial Excellence Trophy (2006), current MM50+ 20 km Time Trial record holder and winner of the Season Long "A' Point Series in both 2007 and 2008. A good crowd was on hand for the Baer and Associates Cyclocross race at Sprague Brook Park. Congratulations to Dan Staffo (Handlebars), Chris Tirone (French Meadow/Ridley), Chris Fuller (Wells Fargo Advisors), and Shana Lydon (Full Moon Vista) on their first place finishes.
