KB is proud to host their first sanctioned bicycling event this coming Nov. 14th during their annual ski swap and open house. Bicycling in November? That's correct, and beyond that the competitors will be wishing for rain, snow, mud and all sorts of nasty conditions that would drive most cyclist to the couch dreaming of dry summer roads or trails and the sweet arcs of winter looming on the horizon. What we have here folks is a CYCLOCROSS RACE. Designed to be one hour and one lap of suffering and all out affront to common sense and the limits of the human body to endure, this event will take place on and around the Central Area slopes and lodge providing an excellent opportunity for spectators to get an up-close look at this fascinating corner of the cycling world. See the flier below for details if you wish to compete, even the kids are welcome, at no cost, to join in on the fun with a free race at noon. This event is hosted by Kissing Bridge in conjunction with the Buffalo Bicycling Club and Eastern Mountain Sports. If you would like to be involved as a volunteer or sponsor please contact
